| THE BARS AT LA TE DA | ||
| "BY GEORGE" PIANO BAR | TERRACE BAR | CRYSTAL BAR |
Our lively Piano Bar is easily one of Key West's most elegant settings. Gilded mirrors, original Picasso sketches and 17th century Spanish statues are the backdrop for festive island rhythms, classib blues and grand piano tunes. Our renowned preformers will keep you entertained nightly. Click here for a schedule of upcoming performances. Inviting you to hit the dance floor is "George", a 1905 tapestry of King George V hanging in a place of honor over the bar. As where the party is and the reply is always "By George". Tourists and locals alike enjoy La Te Da's breezy Terrace Bar. This Duval Street icon welcomes you all day long to enjoy exotic frozen drinks, frosty beers and great conversation. Classic "Southern Hospitality" was in mind during a recent renovation. A traditional mahogany and glass back bar is complimented by rich Tuscan marble up front.
By night, subtle illumination is provided by antique carriage lanterns and during the day you are protected from the sun by deep, shady trellises and classic plantation shutters. The Terrace Bar's front and center location assures you won't miss any of the joie de vivre for which Key West and La Te Da are world renowned. |
Step reverently through the same doors that José Marti stepped through to deliver his firey speaches from the famous terazza that gave La Te Da its name. Today, José would certainly stop at the beautiful marble bar for a Mojito first. The Crystal Bar is the natural spot for a pre-show drink or stay a little later and mix with the "stars" as our amazing cabaret performers join the crowd after the show and, hopefully, don't give away too many behind the scenes secrets. |
